📋  Incident Report #...

At an unspecified hour, a rogue electrical surge bypassed every surge protector (we had none) and introduced itself — uninvited — to the server's motherboard. The motherboard, a gentle soul, did not survive the encounter. The UPS was on holiday. The power strip was from 2009. Investigation is ongoing, but leading theories include: bad luck, worse planning, and hubris.

We are deeply committed to restoring service at some point, probably, when we figure out where the spare parts are. Thank you for your patience, or you know, your complete and total fury — both are valid.

You think this was an accident?
I am the one who racks.

That surge protector didn't fail on its own. The UPS didn't just "forget" to charge. This was chemistry. Voltage, resistance, and inevitability.

Say my name.
(It's heisenberg.local — the DNS still resolves, somehow.)

If you want to know more — you know where to find me.
I'm in the desert. No signal. Obviously.
